Mee Ding Hom
Passed away on
Mee Ding Hom, 96, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at Candler Hospital. He was born in Taishan, China to the late N Toy Hom and Lai Fong Marh. Mr. Hom owned Golden Star Grocery Store and later the Hong Kong Restaurant, both in Savannah.
He is survived by his wife, Meici Huang of Savannah, his daughter, Hao Xin Liang of China, granddaughter, Xi Lin Liu of China, brother, Mee Gong Hom (Woon Ping Hom), and nieces, Susannah and Sylvia.
Services are pending and will be announced soon.
He was a good friend of my dad (Kam Chow) for many years. May he rest in peace.
